My 2007 diary
January:
Hard at work on the new book!

February:
Hard at work on the new book!

March
The TV programme Medical Mavericks is shown - I am still quite unable to watch myself on TV but have seen the other episodes and they are excellent.
14 My second appearance at the Essex Book festival  - this time I was at Hockley Library talking about 'Crooks' - a very enjoyable evening.

April
Have completed the bulk of the research work on the new book and am now working on the first draft.

May:
2 Gave a talk on Essex Murders at the South Woodham Ferrers U3A which is in a beautiful building. A very large and active group, following a wide variety of interests.
25 A talk at the Probus Group of the Chafford Hundred. This is a club for professional businessmen, who hold lunches and outings and all sorts of general interest activities. The first time I have given a talk on murder as an after diner speech, but I was assured that the gentlemen were very robust with strong stomachs!

June:
15 To Rochford for a talk at the local history society at the lovely WI hall about Essex Murders. Very welcoming, and a good audience, a very enjoyable evening.

September: I am on Facebook now.

October
Hard at work on the new project which was finally delivered at the end of the month!

November
Starting a new book.

December:
Hard at work on new book!
